Web 2.0 PowerPoint Presentation Reflection

REFLECTION:
I believe that I have successfully met the criteria for this assessment 'My Space- With Web 2.0' because I have created a Questionnaire, gathered results from my peers, produced graphs and fully documented them into my PowerPoint. I have used all relevant information and included and answered the necessary questions from the Assessment Criteria. I have also included my own extra information on Web 1.0, which helps us get a better idea of what Web 2.0 is about. I have carefully designed my presentation and added pictures to explain my information further. My information is short and informative in a bullet point format to allow people to easily understand what it says. I have successfully met the 10 slide requirement as well. I also had my friend Seema look at my presentation beforehand, and she approved of the design but told me that the Pros and Cons slide needed pictures, so I added pictures. If I were to redo this presentation, to improve I think I could have added some more information on 'how web 2.0 has developed in today's society' because in comparison to the other slides it was a bit unclear. In conclusion, I believe that I did a pretty good job on my PowerPoint because it was carefully done and I took time on it so that it would meet the criteria.

Tech Fair reflection

I really enjoyed doing this project because I got to do it with my friends and it was so much fun. I feel we all contributed well, some more than others, throughout the process of planning, designing and creating. We started off with 3 ideas originally, but were leaning towards the game the whole time. I'm very glad we chose this. We wanted a game based not only on the school but also the community; we did this because our AOI was Community and Service. Once the design process began we had a brainstorming session on what we could include and we couldn't. Once we knew exactly what was going to be in our game we drew a design and then started to incorporate that into our game. When making this game we came through so many minor obstacles and we overcame them by watching and reading tutorials on how to use RPG Maker VX. Overall, it was a fun, educational and interactive game.

I was very pleased of the feedback we received because it was all very positive. We could improve by fixing up the small glitches and bugs, as well as adding more features to make the game more enjoyable.
